Contest Rules

Who runs these contests

FanDash is the sole sponsor and operator of every contest in the app: predictions, the seasonal ranks, duels and fantasy leagues. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of these contests and are not involved in them in any way.

No money, no prizes

There is no entry fee for any contest and nothing is ever staked. There are no cash prizes and no prizes of monetary value. IQ, points, ranks and badges have no cash value and can't be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed.

Predictions, daily games and fantasy leagues are free to play. The ranked ladder (your division and leaderboard spot) and duels are part of a FanDash Pro subscription, which pays for app features, not for entry into a prize contest. Buying an extra fantasy league slot adds room for one more league; it is not an entry fee.

Eligibility

Anyone with a FanDash account who meets the age requirement in the Terms of Service can take part. One account per person.

Predictions and IQ

• Each question shows one IQ reward. A correct pick earns that reward, whichever option you chose. A wrong pick earns 0 and costs nothing.
• Picks lock before the match starts, usually 15 minutes before; the lock time is shown on every question. Toss questions lock earlier.
• Questions are graded from the official match result. If a match is abandoned or a question can't be settled (for example, a player doesn't play), the pick is void and counts for nothing either way. If options finish level on a question where that's possible, every pick on a level option counts as correct.
• Bonus IQ: a correct pick that went against at least 70% of 10 or more players earns a bonus of half its reward, and every correct pick beyond the first two on the same match earns 5 more IQ.

Seasons and ranks

A season lasts about 90 days. Ranks come from the IQ you earn during the season compared with other ranked players. Each new season starts fresh, with a small carry-over from your previous season. At the top ranks, weeks without playing cost a small amount of IQ so those ranks stay earned.

Duels

A duel compares two players' picks on the same questions. The winner earns IQ and both players' duel ratings move up or down. Your IQ is never taken away in a duel.

Fantasy leagues

Leagues are created and run by players. Standings come from real match performance under each league's scoring settings. FanDash does not offer, hold or pay out prizes, entry fees or buy-ins for any league.

Fair play

No bots, scripts, shared accounts or multiple accounts. We may void picks, adjust IQ or remove accounts that break these rules or the Terms of Service.
